The Liberal Studies program in Human Rights Studies focuses on the concepts and operation of human rights work from the viewpoint of several disciplines.  Students are introduced to general legal and philosophical principles and have the opportunity to develop particular knowledge in a specific area of human rights.  Departments in which students take courses include Religion, Political Science, Anthropology, and Women’s Studies.  Students also take courses at the School of International and Public Affairs and the Mailman School of Public Health.
