The Liberal Studies program in Islamic Studies investigates the history and social culture of the many nations sharing a common culture and religion.  Students pursue their interests in the art, philosophy, literature, and history of Islam through the course offerings of several departments including History, Middle East, South Asian, and African Studies, Religion, and Political Science.
