The Liberal Studies program in Modern European Studies focuses on the history, literature, politics and cultures of Europe from the eighteenth century to the present. Students concentrate their studies geographically, chronologically, topically, or by some combination of these areas. Departments in which students take courses include Art History, English and Comparative Literature, Germanic Languages and Literatures, and French and Romance Philology.
