The Liberal Studies program in South Asian Studies centers on the culturally diverse region composed of India, Pakistan, Nepal, Tibet, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Departments in which students take courses include History, Middle East and Asian Languages and Cultures, and Art History.
